The banquet people had dreamed of

In the exceptional setting of Anderlecht’s former Veterinary School, the Centre de Gastronomie Historique invited guests to discover seventeenth-century gastronomy around a fully staged historical table.

L’Art de bien traiter

The four-service menu drew on recipes from L’Art de bien traiter, an anonymous cookery book published in 1674. Hypocras, white and red wine, lemonade, orangeade and water accompanied the banquet.
